Q. Are these vinyl wraps?
A. No, these are not vinyl wraps. No Coast Design creates custom paint schemes for powerboats, aircraft and Motor coach applications
Q. What is the process of getting a custom design and paint job for my craft?
A. The process involves 3 major steps. Setting goals with the customer to develop guidelines for the project, creating an appropriate design that moves for the application, and execution of the design during the paint process. You can learn more about the process here.
Q.How long does a project take?
A. The time required for completion of a project depends on many factors. We like to discuss and establish a time line with customers before we start the project.
Q. How far in advance do I have to book a project?
A.All projects are booked based on current workload and production space. Our goal is to be as accommodating as possible without affecting the execution of project goals. We can more appropriately discuss turn around time once we have been contacted regarding a project.
Q.How much does it cost?
A. Cost is determined on a project-to-project basis. The more intricate the design, the more labor and skill are required for execution, the higher the cost. However, We can work with you to create a design that fits your budget. For a quote for your project, please contact us at sales@nocoastdesigns.com
Q.Do you paint projects in-house?
A. Yes. No Coast design recently established a paint shop located in Benton Harbor, MI. We can now finish all our projects in house.
Q.How do I get my project to you?
A. For insurance purposes, transportation of a vehicle is dependent on the customer. We understand that moving a vehicle can present logistical and financial problems and are willing to work with paint shops in your area that meet our standards.
Q. Could I have you design my project, then have it painted at another shop closer to my location?
A. We prefer to handle the entire project through No Coast Custom Paint. We prefer to handle the painting portion in house so that we can have greater control over the execution of work and the outcome of the project. We are willing to work with other paint facilities in your area that meet our standards if transportation of the vehicle is impractical.
Q. Would you do just the design for a job?
A. We are still currently offering Design services independent of our Custom Paint Services.
Q. Would you do just the paint for a job?
A. We do offer paint repair services to help clients maintain their vehicles finish quality.
Q. What is the life expectancy of my new custom paint job?
A. Life expectancy of a painted service varies by the execution of the paint process followed by the discipline of the owner operator of the vehicle. Most painted surfaces become damaged by the environment or by accident and abrasion before the coating actually fails.
Q. How Do I maintain a new paint job?
A. The most important thing is to keep the surface clean and protected with a polymer sealant.
Q. Do you offer services other than design and design paint?
A. We offer Image Control maintenance services for all vehicles through Image Control. You can learn more about Image Control, the services offered and their locations here.
Q. Do you work on cars?
A. Not usually, No Coast Design’s specialty is not in small projects. We have done some motors ports graphics in the past. but are focused on projects that are painted rather than applied vinyl graphics. We do offer Image maintenance services for cars that meet our high standards of perfection. You can learn more about these services through Image Control.
